Even though I’ve got a green thumb and love spending whole evenings in my front yard, lawn maintenance has always given me headaches. Maintaining the grass in their healthy green, keeping from weed invasions and cutting them to the exact heights, have taken up half the time of my gardening career. Making the whole land planted with grass and other plants, which are maintained at a low, even height.

I believe choosing the right kinds of grass and following the right gardening techniques will do good to any lawn. I still try finding better solutions, for, a hundred-percent perfect system of maintenance is the only way to be able to wake up every morning and see your lawn glowing in its splendid green.

St. Augustine and Bermuda Grasses have always been the perfect fit for my lawn. I love seeing the flowering Purple Poppy Mallows planted towards the corners. My lawn has always been a cause of pleasure thanks to my initial landscapers who inspired me and proved the potential of my then-dry-and-dead lawn. I still contact them sometimes to get advice, but mostly it’s to repeatedly thank them.

Even if this task takes bit of time, thinking about the ultimate joy it brings, I truly don’t think that lawn maintenance is cumbersome after all. You’ve just got to do it with a smile on your face!
